Travers and originally portrayed by actress Julie Andrews in the Walt Disney-produced 1964 film — will be reimagined on the Newton Community Theatre stage on March 8-10, 12 and 14-16. The group plays a variety of classic rock hits from the 1970s and 1980s.The Brew at the Den 8 p.m. Saturday The Wolf Den in Reasnor Richard Arndt & The Brew will bring a fusion of various musical styles from rock ‘n’ roll to blues with a little honky tonk thrown in to rock the stage. The Brew consists of Arndt on guitar and vocals, Ryan Fox on percussion and vocals, as well as Mike Pruter Jr. on the bass guitar.
